How NOT to Avoid a Primary Calling...From Someone Who Knows

Dear Charlotte,
Here are ten surefire ways NOT to avoid a calling in the Primary:

1. Have a mother who is the best teacher in the primary...really.
2. Sign up on the substitute list
3. And check the "available last minute" box.
4. Agree to teach a class
5. That you later find out needs a new teacher.
6. Admit you've just come from a Primary Presidency.
7. Know all of the songs
8. Better than the chorister.
9. Have the most reverent class in Primary.
10. Tell the Primary President you had no problems when she calls afterword "just to see how it went."

So there you have it. Just when I was thinking how nice it was to be back in Relief Society again...
